You may have a Realtor you may wish to represent you in the purchase of a new or resale home. If you wish to be represented by your Realtor when you purchase your new home, you must visit the new home development with your Realtor on your first visit. If you do visit without your Realtor, and still wish to be represented, please do not sign the guest book during your visit. This will eliminate your capability to have your Realtor negotiate on your behalf for financing incentives, price reductions and allowances. Please remember that the agent at the new development represents the seller when you visit, and also please consider that as soon as you buy the home you may be upside down in comparison with what the homes are selling for on the resale market. Your Realtor can give you the resale pricing on the homes in the specific neighborhood you are interested in. It may save you a lot of grief in the future.
