Placing your home on the market with a real estate professional should be a carefully planned decision.  Do not assume that the agent you found when looking for a house to buy, is the best agent to sell your home.  Also, basing your decision solely on the commission charged by an agent may not necessarily be the wisest route to take in the sale of your home. Select your professional carefully after consideration of all aspects of the selling process and do not assume that the expression "Full Service" means the same to every agent.

Erecting a "for sale" sign in the yard, advertising your home in the newspaper, placing your home in the Multiple Listings Service, and waiting for another agent to bring the buyer, do the work and close the escrow is not "Full Service".
